Fohr 2008

Pat
and I visited friends and relatives in Germany from June 14 - 27,
2008. We went to the Friesian Island of Fohr in the
North
Sea and stayed with Pat's second cousin Ellen Oldsen and her husband,
Chris, who live in the town of Nieblum. Ellen is a Frudden and is the
first cousin of Pat's father.
The Island of
Fohr is accessable only by ferry, which takes about 45 minutes to reach
from the mainland.
There
are 2 sections to this report of our adventures on Fohr. In
the first
part I tried to capture the flavor of Fohr and some of its culture and
beauty. In the second section I have photos of the people -
friends and family that we visited with during our stay.
