Galapagos Islands

In May of 2014 Pat and I were
joined by Pat's cousin, Marian and her husband, Fred, for a long
awaited trip to the Galapagos Islands, off the coast of Ecuador, South
America. We first flew to the capital city of Quito, where we spent 2
nights. While there we did some touring, which included a visit to the
equator and the old city of Quito. We then flew to the Galapagos where
we boarded the yacht MV Santa Cruz. The ship had 82 guests for the 6
day voyage. We visited the 5 western islands where we saw numerous
unique animals and snorkled on the coral reefs on 2 occasions. On the
final day we flew back to Quito and spent the night at a beautiful
hotel before our flight home.
