On the last week in March of 2011, we visited Mango Creek Lodge on Roatan, a bay island of Honduras. Mango Creek Lodge is located on the eastern part of the island. We were greeted at the airport and driven to the end of the road at the town of Oak Ridge and then taken on a 15 minute boat ride to Mango Creek. It was a relaxing week punctuated with activities of kayaking, snorkeling, hiking and fishing. The food in the dining room was wonderful and the staff did everything in their power to make our stay a memorable one.
